Wonderful

I liked the cleaner particularly Ghada who was very keen and innocent. Also, Mr Maged in reception who was very cooperative and helpful. Mona in the restaurant as well.

Only the noise outside on the street after 2 Am which is not related to the hotel.

Wonderful

The staff are very nice and helpful. They even recommended some activities for us to do.

It is noisy outside the hotel but this normal given its location. It would be great if the room windows have better sound isolation.

Best location and value for money.

Great location, very friendly manager and staff. Overlooking the corniche was worth putting up with the noise. Ride-share minibuses constantly passing in both directions. Cross the street at your peril (everybody else does, in great numbers)

Street noise (It was Eid, so exceptionally busy). No tea-making facility in room. No balcony (the rooms that do have balconies are little better, they're tiny)

I asked for extra bed as per their policy They upgraded to larger room without informing me Then at the checkout I found the charge is higher than the expected They should inform at check-in time

I didn’t recommend the hotel for any traveler and it can’t be rated more than one star

Restaurant supervisor ;Location which is already known be careful as they smoke everywhere even in restaurant lobby corridors non smokers are not recommended to stay at this property

Very poor food quality; the didn’t stick to the currency rate as stated by Booking.com and delay in checking in as well as staying in different rooms than the booked.one of the rooms a/c &TV wasn’t working only restraint supervisor was cooperative but the hygiene and cleanliness is very poor in the restaurant and rooms

Super awesome sea view from the balcony!

Super awesome sea view from the balcony!! The hotel is located in the heart of the city where the Mediterraean sea is right in front of our eyes. Very friendly staff too and the meals are rich and awesome, we had a great time.

The wifi doesn't work very well. The loud music on the beach lasts all night, a bit disturbing if you sleep early.

Good experience

Friendly staff, clean hotel, decent food and near the city centre. Matruh is a simple city but definitely worth a visit. Views from the room were lovely We walked to a different café every night Staff helped arrange a couple of trips for us

I was expecting less but I get more... The people there were so friendly and supportive.. i like it so much and i would like to visit it again

The noise coming from the outdoor was high.. it is normal in the whole area but i don't used to it.

Very expensive compared to what you get. I don’t recommend

The location

I didn’t like a lot of things. It’s very pricy for the services provided. Buffets where really bad no varieties and sometimes bad quality of ingridents used. The hotel disconnects the internet router in some floors we blogged back by ourselves. The room had a funny smell all the time. No complemantries when you arrive not even a bottle of water. They used bad quality shampoo and a soap!!!

Okay but overpriced

Very good location, modern furniture, staff ok

Not as clean as it's supposed to be at such a price. Very very poor breakfast (worse than what you can find in a airplane). The hotel is overpriced as all hotels on the "corniche" are. You pay for the location, the view and their new furniture... But not for the service and the quality which are very poor and don't fit the normal standards...
